Copenhagen Airport – Security Area

Two tables with a combined length of 18 meters serve as screens that conceal baggage carts and allow passengers to collect their belongings after security screening. In accordance with the airport’s energy policy, lighting is concentrated and intensified only where necessary. The integrated LED lights are interactive and activated by sensors when passengers approach the structure. The lighting was designed in collaboration with lighting designer Jesper Kongshaug.
